I recently finished a painting of a dog looking upwards. Dogs can represent loyalty. As a dog is loyal to its master, so we are to be loyal to our Master, Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. We are to fix our eyes on Him, who is our joy and prize, knowing that Heaven is cheering us on! 

'Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.'

Hebrews 12:1-2

My prayer for you and I, is that we focus on Jesus throughout this race of life and keep an eternal perspective on life. This will help us to get through the really hard days and to never give up! Jesus is interceding for us!
